Review:
Lets set the record straight… I usually do not read science fiction alien stories. I mainly picked this up because of the movie coming out with Alex and Dianna from Glee. I am hoping the book is a whole lot better than the book, because then I am not going to waste my five bucks.
This book was… interesting. It really never held my attention and I was very confused for a majority of it. The one thing that kept me held on to the story was John and Sarah’s love story.
I am not a big fan of the original cover, but I am in love with the movie cover. I usually don’t like movie covers, but I think they did a good job with this one.
The writing style was NOT good… at all. I felt like an eight year old could have done better than what the author did. (Yes, I know full well that there really isn’t a “Pittacus Lore”).
This book really wasn’t for me. Maybe if I read more alien stories, I might have liked it better.
Parental Corner:
This book had mild cussing, no sexual content, or drug use. Its nothing that any Young Adult reader should read.
Love,
Sierra
